Knud Villefrance Rasmussen established scan htp in 2009. A firm belief in the digital print potential drove the former head of development from closed down “Dansk Transfertryk”. He was certain that digital transfer printing was the answer to the increasing demand for smaller and unique collections from all over the textiles market.
Several former colleagues followed him and with them, many years of experience. We believed that Denmark was to play an important role in the market of textile printing, and we still do.
We have a gift in Denmark and at scan htp. Idea development is probably the correct term, but to us, it is more an obvious way of combining our desire to invent with our technical know-how of printers and fabric. And we love it!
We live in the heart of Denmark
scan htp is situated in Silkeborg, probably one of Denmark’s most beautiful cities with a rich woodland, Denmark’s biggest river and lots of little lakes.
In 2013, we brought together the administration and the production under the same roof in our current facilities on Sabroesvej 4 in Silkeborg. Having joined our expertise is a great advantage in our everyday work, and it means that we can easily invite customers in for a coffee and a chat with both our designer and technicians.
No entry!
Customers are more than welcome at Sabroesvej, but not all doors are open. We bid you coffee, rolls of fabric and a good view of our pattern portfolio, but the door to the “engine room” remains closed. We are big into discretion. We promised.
When the printer is buzzing away, we are very close to the final result. It is the development effort prior to the printer that really matters, and this calls for our absolute confidence. We never compromise exclusivity. Your design and your ideas are safe with us.
No project is too big – and no project is too small
We are game for it all as long as we are able to deliver a perfect print and fulfil your expectations 100%. We don’t do semi-good. We’d rather pass decline the project or perhaps recommend a different solution for you.
We have built many years of experience, but we have no “normal procedures” that we will impose on you and your print project. We insist on making the best possible print for you, every time.
We like working closely together with you. The dialogue and the feedback. When the engine’s spinning in the production hall, and Leif, our the head printer and uncompromising quality controller, is nodding satisfied while supervising the rolling of the printed fabric, everybody is happy knowing we have done this in a partnership.
We have a profound customer portfolio
This approach to collaboration with our customers, has taken us far and wide. We print projects for customers all over Europe and is not unusual to start a new partnership a challenging task. The focus may be pointed towards anything between the pattern, choice of fabric, printing technique and supplier issues.
We have projects of technical textiles within medical textiles and outdoor textiles. We have many projects of fashion and home textiles, and we have more and more innovation projects dedicated to find new ways.
